Tasked with changing up ITV’s approach when it comes to major football tournaments, we decided to go bold and brave with a mixed media route that not only caught the spirit of the nation but won some awards along the way.
As a young England squad headed to the World Cup we chose to forget about the past and focus on the future…thus ’Forget History’ was born.

After the TVC launch we dropped social specific spots in the days leading up to the tournament, teaming up with ‘The F2’ youtubers as well as sneaking in plenty of easter eggs for World Cup footy fans.
